The first step to doing that is knowing what you want someone to feel. For me it’s simple: I want you to watch your photos and your film ten years from now and not just see your wedding day, but be returned to it, the heat of the afternoon, the noise of the room, the way it felt to be looked at by the person you married. Framing, movement, sound, pacing, colour, all of it shapes that feeling, and none of it should happen by accident.
